Join us for AWC's Spring Three Rivers event.

Three Rivers is held twice a year, in the spring and late summer, and is a two-day event. On Saturday, the fun begins with trips to three different rivers, each suited for beginner, intermediate, or advanced paddlers. Afterward, everyone convenes overnight camping. Sunday there is an all-skills paddle for everyone.

Please register to the left if you plan on attending Three Rivers Weekend. We need a good head count for each trip.

YOU MUST CONTACT THE EVENT COORDINATOR FOR SATURDAY'S TRIP MEET-UP INFORMATION!

********NEW INFORMATION*******

Camping and Rivers for Three Rivers will be at Persimmon Creek Campground.

http://www.persimmoncreekcampground.com/

We have made reservations for the group site, but everyone will need to pay for camping separately on the day. It will cost $8 per person upon arrival.

Saturday's Three Rivers:

Hiawassee:
Coordinated by Tim Wallen. Perfect for beginners just starting to learn how to control the boat. Also provides absolutely beautiful scenery.

Nantahala:
Coordinated by Michael Johnson. Acceptable for beginners and perfect for intermediate boaters. The Nantahala offers a lot of variety for all skill levels.

Upper and / or Middle Ocoee:
Coordinated by Lee Harris.
***UPDATE***
If you only want to do the middle and NOT the upper please sign up for the event and then shoot me an email.  We will have a meet up time for the middle!

Advanced boaters only. The Upper Ocoee is a challenging run and pairing it with the full run of the middle should leave any boater exhausted and happy.

Rafting trip is no longer being offered.

We will have BBQ provided - local and organic - for a donation of $5 each. Sign up for BBQ in the sign up form. Please plan to bring a potluck side for sharing.

Sunday we will do a large group run on the Nantahala.

**If this is your first trip on the river you've signed up for, please contact the coordinator so we can get a feel for skill levels and find extra coordinators if needed.
