Join us for AWC's Spring Three Rivers event.

Three Rivers is held twice a year, in the spring and late summer, and is a two-day event. On Saturday, the fun begins with trips to three different rivers, each suited for beginner, intermediate, or advanced paddlers. Afterward, everyone convenes for a feast and overnight camping. Sunday there is an all-skills paddle for everyone.

Please register to the left if you plan on attending Three Rivers Weekend. We need a good head count for each trip and we need to know how much BBQ to get for Saturday's dinner. As always, guest are welcome.

The following are our currently scheduled trips. More trips may be added, so check back here, or follow us on Facebook or Yahoo.

Beginner Trip/Cleanup: Cartecay - Randy Hamilton and Will Bridges
AWC will be joining other paddlers for the Earth Day Cartecay Cleanup.

Intermediate: Ocoee - Michael Johnson
If you're a first timer, please contact Michael Johnson so we can coordinate the number of guides on hand.

Advanced: Cheoah StepUp - Nick Fielder
The official AWC Cheoah trip will be capped at nine slots (reserved for 1st-2nd timers on the Cheoah), and will need to coordinate with Nick Fieldler for the slot. Anyone qualified to run Cheoah on their own is more than welcome to do so without being part of the official group.

Advanced: Chattooga, Sec IV
A trip down the classic. Please contact George Hedrick to join this trip.

Saturday Night Camping and BBQ

After the river, we'll all join up for BBQ at 7pm, followed by campfires and camping at our Campground at Nelson's Hideaway. Bring a side and some wood for the fire.

Sunday Trips: Most members will meet up and run the Nantahala, while an informal group will break off to to the Cheoah.
