About Team River Runner - http://www.teamriverrunner.org
Team River Runner was established  to bring health and healing through the form of whitewater recreation to military veterans. Team River Runner (TRR) is a non-profit company that was founded in Washington DC by kayakers in 2004. It is primarily run by volunteers. Team River Runner (TRR) gives military veterans and their family members an opportunity to find health, healing, and new challenges through whitewater boating and other paddling sports. The benefits of TRR have as much to do with social support, finding emotional strength and re-creating personal identity as they do with athletic activity.

If you are interested in donating to such a wonderful cause, please see below. If you are not able to give a monetary donation, please consider donating your time (instructors and safety boaters are always needed) or gear.

The Asheville chapter runs on a thread of a shoestring, so monetary donations specified for their chapter are greatly appreciated. https://app.etapestry.com/hosted/TeamRiverRunner/OnlineDonation.html

If you would like to donate your assistance or gear, please contact Cliff Counsell at swamaco(at)hotmail.com
